A rising water bill, a warm spot on the floor, or a stain on the ceiling usually means water is escaping somewhere you cannot see. We locate leaks with pressure testing, acoustic listening, and thermal imaging so the repair opens as little wall, slab, or ceiling as possible.
Most leaks fall into a handful of categories, and each has a very different repair path.
We isolate the system section by section with pressure gauges, then confirm the location acoustically or thermally before cutting anything. You get photos of the findings and a fixed price for the repair before work starts.
One pinhole in copper is often a repair. A third pinhole in the same run usually means the pipe wall is failing throughout, and a partial or whole-home repipe costs less over time than repeated call-backs. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in.
Shut off every fixture and watch the low-flow indicator on your water meter. If it moves, water is leaving the system somewhere between the meter and your fixtures.
If water is actively running or damaging finishes, yes — close the main shutoff at the meter or where the line enters the house, then call us.
