Most tank replacements are completed in a half day.

Load calculation based on fixtures and household size
Written quote covering unit, parts, permit, and disposal
Drain-down and removal of the old heater
New shutoffs, flex connectors, and drip pan as needed
Expansion tank and T&P discharge piping to code
Combustion venting verified and tested

Upgrades worth considering

Pan and leak sensors, a recirculation loop for distant bathrooms, and a properly sized expansion tank add modest cost during installation and prevent expensive problems later.
